I finally have stuff to post :D

I have survived two weeks at my new job. I'm working at a special ed school for ages K-21. I've been assigned to one class instead of hopping around to different classes. Mine is middle school aged. There are four kids in my class, all male. Their names are Salman, Stephen, Obinna, and Ludwig. Two are autistic, and two have mental retardation. This past Friday was the Special Olympics at school. I had a blast! My classes event was "Nascar racing". We had these huge trikes made for older kids and we decorated them like race cars. The kids had to do seven laps around the playground. It was fun.

Yesterday as promised Chris let me get guinea pigs. I got two males. One is calico colored, and I named him Napoleon. The other is a light orangey/tanish color, and his name is Ziggy. They are about seven weeks old.

Tonight Chris and I tried a new restaurant called Rocky Run Tap and Grill. It was AWESOME! It's a Maryland restaurant with only three locations. One here in Columbia, one in Glen Burnie, and one in Baltimore. The food is to die for, and there is so much to choose from. I got a pasta dish that had scallops and shrimp seasoned in old bay in a tomato cream sauce. I also had a side of sweet potato fries because I couldn't resist. They were so good. Chris had a half rack of ribs with a chicken breast. The table had a paper covering on it and there was a cup of crayons on the table. So of course I drew all over the table top :P There were shelves of hot sauce lining the walls too. All in all we had an excellent time and we now have a new place to eat at. The TGI Fridays here in Columbia is on detention for a few months. The service and quality have been poor, so we decided to stop going for awhile. It was my favorite place to go.

I started playing Pokemon Sapphire for Gameboy advance again. I hadn't played in forever because I'm always on Neopets. I'm a little irked with the new changes Neopets has taken so I haven't been playing it nearly as much. The whole site got a make over including the pets. I don't mind the new layout, it's my Lennies that bother me. They look weird. They look like they are playing air guitar, or hugging an invisible pole. It wouldn't be so bad if they had given the option to keep the old look like they did when it was being beta tested. Some pets makeovers definitely look much better. Unfortunately for me I only own Lennies and they all look like poo.

Well today was day two on new meds. I flipped out at work twice. >_< Once in the morning when I was trying to explain to my supervisors what was going on with me. Then at the end of the day when I was laying beds for the dogs. All the dogs barking, and two dogs snarling at each other, the one dog Tater kept lifting his leg and peeing on the other dogs, and another dog Elta wouldn't come back inside cause she was supposed to be locked in. I snapped. I burst out crying and ran out of the kennel. The other girl I was working with was in total shock. I felt so bad. So I ran up front to talk to my supervisors again. Everyone else working was looking at me like I was nuts. It was so embarrassing. I couldn't talk straight. It took me forever to tell them what was wrong. I don't know what I'm going to do tomorrow after the one guy leaves early. I have kennel again and I'm by myself after 2pm. :(

Well, it cam to that point again -_- I went to the doctors today about my medicine. I was starting to feel these past few weeks like it wasn't working as well. I've been getting upset a lot easier than usual like I used to, and becoming more irritable. Then today I called out of work. I could not motivate myself to get up and go. It wasn't me being lazy at all. I'd feel to guilty to call out of work for no reason, I wouldn't be able to sleep. Today I just couldn't do it. So that's when I realised something was wrong. So I went to the doctors and he gave me new meds. I hope they work. I just want to find something that works. I want the depression to go away for good, and I want the anxiety attacks to go away. How do I explain to my bosses at work without feeling like a moron? I have a feeling Edna was pissed off today that I called out. She always complains about people calling out. Cause she still goes in when she's sick. *Grumble*

Wish I had had the chance to post this sooner, but I guess it's better late then never.

My glorious tale begins Saturday at about 1:30 am-ish. I had been asleep for about three hours over at Chris' place. I was awoken suddenly by Chris yelling. He had tripped on something and had fallen onto the bed. After that I was wide awake. Now Chris and I had planned to take a trip to Frederick much later in the day to relive our first date. I knew he had a gift for me but I wasn't allowed to have it till later. Since I was wide awake I asked him if I could have my present. After some convincing he had agreed. He presented me with a scrap book he had made himself. I was touched that he had made me something so thoughtful. Inside was my poem he wrote me, our profiles from match.com, pictures from our first date, and a few other pages that were in progress. On the very last page that he had made was a ribbon, tied to the ribbon was an engagement ring. Chris got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was in shock, but managed a "yes". ^_^ After that neither of us were tired so we went to Denny's. But yeah, I'm engaged!! This is the last time! I knew there was something different about Chris the first day I met him. I know he's who I'm meant to be with. We're aiming for November 2006 for our wedding.

The trip to Frederick wasn't too bad. Would have been better if it hadn't of been raining. After Frederick we went to West Virginia to visit Chris's parents. They were excited about the news. My parents were happy as well.

It was five months for Chris and I on Sunday. It feels like so much longer. We know each other so well. I feel like I've known him for years. I'm so comfortable around him. We went to the Washington Zoo on Saturday. I had a blast. I hadn't been there since the summer before second grade. We took the metro down from Greenbelt station. I wasn't able to go through the whole place though. We ended up leaving to go to McDonalds for food. It was a lot of walking, so I was exhausted. I was too tired to walk all the way back to the zoo then through the rest of it. Chris said we can go another time so I can see the rest of the animals. I got to see Cheetah's, Panda's, a kangaroo, an emu, hippo's, elephants, a zebra, giraffe's, and the bird house. There was so much more but I was too damn tired. :(

This Saturday Chris and I are supposed to go to Frederick where we first met to relive the first date once again. I am so excited!! I absolutely can't wait! :D

Saw Oasis at Merriweather last night with Julsy. We were like tenth row. Omg it was awesome! I've liked them since seventh grade. It took like ten years for me to see them. They played both of my songs, "Live Forever", and "Don't Look Back in Anger". Liam and Noel were so close! God they were hot. :D Jet opened for them, they were good too, and I knew three songs. People in front of us had issues. They couldn't figure out if their seats were correct or not. I guess it would have been too easy to ask the usher. During Champagne Supernova the two girls right in front of us started to smoke a joint. The one girl ended up getting up on the chair acting like a complete moron. Her butt was like right in my face. >_< The very very last song the lead singer from the other band came out to sing too. They sang "My generation". Liam got down on the floor. Julie and I might of been able to touch him but the stupid girl next to us was moving too slow. She lost her shoe in the shuffle, and the folding chairs kept getting in the way. We were so close! Stupid woman.. During one song some dude threw a beer or soda or something. Whatever it was the back of us got wet. Blech. After every song Liam would say "Cheers", I swear it kept sounding like he was saying "Cheese"! LOL.

Before the concert Julie and I met up at Columbia mall. We finally exchanged birthday presents. I now own an awesome shirt that says: "I pee in pools". HAHAHA (Don't ask..)

**Jules don't forget, Liam dedicated a song to "deaf people".

I had 77 so every tenth one for me:

Cartoons: I've always loved watching cartoons ever since I was little. I still absolutely love cartoons. I remember on Saturday mornings I'd always watch Muppet Babies and Garfield and Friends. On Sundays on Nickelodeon there was Doug, Rugrats, Ren and Stimpy and Rocko's Modern Life. After school days there was Ghostbusters, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Super Mario,and Ducktales. Before elementary school in the mornings there was looney tunes and Popeye. Cartoons have majorly influenced my drawing style as well.

Coldplay: I have their first two cd's and love them. I can listen to their second one in my car over and over again without tiring of it. Chris Martin has an amazing voice, and touching lyrics. Whenever I'm feeling stressed I just pop in Coldplay and it's an instant calm down.

Guns 'N Roses: I got into GNR back in the sixth grade thanks to a friend named Sammy Hughes. I've loved them ever since. At least the old them. I have all the cd's. My favorite song is November Rain. I was obsessed with Axl Rose for a long time too. Even made a marionette of him in Studio Art in High school and preformed Sweet Child of Mine.

Legend of Zelda: I have loved every LOZ game I have ever played. I've played nearly all of them too. I think my most favorite is the one for Super Nintendo. I can beat it in my sleep I've played it so many times. I'm actually playing Ocarina of Time for gamecube right now. (Oh, and Link is hot when he's older)

Oldies: I've liked music from the 50's and 60's since I was little. Probably cause I heard a lot of it on the jukebox at the bowling alley where my mom worked. Can't beat "It's my Party and I'll Cry if I want to", or "Do you love me (Now that I can dance)". My favorite oldies has always been Earth Angel, and Blue Moon.

Scrabble: Loved Scrabble since the fifth grade when we had a Scrabble tournament. My partner and I won! It's hard finding people to play with though. So I own a copy for the PC. I own the deluxe Scrabble board, a travel board, and the official Scrabble dictionary.

The Far Side: Who doesn't love this comic? Gary Larson was a genius. He had a great style, and a great sense of humor. I wish it was still in the Sunday comics. At least you can buy his collections. I have a few. Who doesn't?
