Wish I had had the chance to post this sooner, but I guess it's better late then never.

My glorious tale begins Saturday at about 1:30 am-ish. I had been asleep for about three hours over at Chris' place. I was awoken suddenly by Chris yelling. He had tripped on something and had fallen onto the bed. After that I was wide awake. Now Chris and I had planned to take a trip to Frederick much later in the day to relive our first date. I knew he had a gift for me but I wasn't allowed to have it till later. Since I was wide awake I asked him if I could have my present. After some convincing he had agreed. He presented me with a scrap book he had made himself. I was touched that he had made me something so thoughtful. Inside was my poem he wrote me, our profiles from match.com, pictures from our first date, and a few other pages that were in progress. On the very last page that he had made was a ribbon, tied to the ribbon was an engagement ring. Chris got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was in shock, but managed a "yes". ^_^ After that neither of us were tired so we went to Denny's. But yeah, I'm engaged!! This is the last time! I knew there was something different about Chris the first day I met him. I know he's who I'm meant to be with. We're aiming for November 2006 for our wedding.

The trip to Frederick wasn't too bad. Would have been better if it hadn't of been raining. After Frederick we went to West Virginia to visit Chris's parents. They were excited about the news. My parents were happy as well.
